Graveside services for Jimmy "Joe" Trent, 70, of Tulare are scheduled for 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 7 at Lindsay-Strathmore Cemetery. He died on Jan. 2.
He served in the United States Army and was a resident of Tulare County for 20 years.
He is survived by his wife, Berniece Trent of Tulare; daughter, Jolynn Jordan of Visalia; son, Mark Joe Trent of St. Louis, Mo.; two brothers, Maurice Trent of Springfield, Mo. and Edward Trent of Kingman, Ariz.; two sisters, Louise Estes and Margie Morgan both of Springville; two step-sons, Steven Henson of Vacaville and Dana Michael Henson of Davis; six grandsons and four step-grandsons; many nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are under the direction of Peers Lorentzen Funeral Service, Tulare.
