Rosary will be said at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 28 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church for Luis Gonzales, 71, of Lindsay. Mass will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 29 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Lindsay. He died on Jan. 23.
He was born on July 8, 1932 in Tisapan Jalisco, Mexico. He came to the United States in 1948. He married Josie Fevinger in 1952.
He worked as a foreman for Pinkham Brothers in Exeter until he retired in 1998. He enjoyed fishing and barbecuing.
Survivors include his wife, Josie Gonzales of Lindsay; four sons, Louis Gonzales, Richard Gonzales, David Gonzales all of Lindsay and Robert Gonzales of Porterville; two daughters, Lupe Diaz of Lindsay and Patricia Macias of Porterville; three sisters, Trinidad Arceo, Macolvia Santillon and Maria Del Refugio all of Mexico; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, David Gonzales; mother, Guadalupe Allar; brother, Salvador Gonzales.
Visitation will be held from 1-6 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 28 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Arrangements are under the direction of Webb-Sanders Funeral Home, Lindsay.
