Chapel services were held on Jan. 30 for Redith R. Weems, 88, of Exeter. Burial followed at the Exeter District Cemetery. She passed away on Jan. 27.
She was born in Macomb, Mo. on March 13, 1915 to D. and Rebecca Caudle. She was raised in Missouri, coming to Exeter in 1945 where she married Glenn Maxwell Weems in Las Vegas on April 17, 1954. She worked many years in fruit packing at Exeter Orchards.
Survivors include one brother, Tom Caudle of Iowa; three sisters, Reba Heatherly of Exeter, Loretta Hall and Cledith Gray both of Missouri; nephew Ross Caudle of Visalia.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn, in December 2002.
