Graveside services were held on Tuesday, Feb. 3 for Maria G. Gutierrez, 18, of Strathmore. She died on Jan. 29.
She was a life-long resident of Tulare County. She graduated from Strathmore High School and she was currently attending College of the Sequoias in Visalia.
Survivors include her mother, Gloria Gutierrez of Strathmore; father, Jose Gutierrez of Las Vegas; two brothers, Jesus Guzman and Juan Medrano, Jr. both of Strathmore; four sisters, Aurora Gutierrez, Veronica Gutierrez and Amelia Medrano all of Strathmore and Patricia Pascua of Porterville; grandmother, Aurora Mosqueda of Strathmore.
Arrangements were under the direction of Peers Lorentzen Funeral Chapel in Tulare.
