A memorial service will be held for Donald V. Miller, 97, of Exeter at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, March 7 at the Exeter Church of Christ. He died on Feb. 23.
He was born on Aug. 20, 1906 in Los Angeles. He met and married the former Louise Arnett in Los Angeles on Sept. 1, 1926. The couple was married for 74 wonderful years. He and Louise spent their working lives in Pasadena where he served as vice-president of United California Bank. He was a director of the Tournament of Roses Association, a member of the Chamber of Commerce and Chairman of the Board of Regents of Pepperdine University. He and Louise spent 20 happy years in Exeter. She passed away on April 9, 2000.
Surviving are his two loving daughters, Marilyn Shaner of Visalia and Donna Krumme of Sunrise, Ore.; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
