Chapel services for Eva Mable Craven, 96, of Lindsay were held on Feb. 26 at Webb-Sanders Funeral Home. She died on Feb. 22.
She was born on Oct. 13, 1907 in Indian Point Township, Ill. She married Vernon Craven on Aug. 13, 1923 in Illinois. She was a resident of Lindsay and Strathmore for 76 years. She was a homemaker who was devoted to taking care of her family. In her younger years she enjoyed riding horses. She was a musical person, playing the piano and violin, she also sang in a quartet on the radio with other family members. She liked to cook and bake for her family.
Survivors include her three sons, Earl Craven of Bellflower, Calif., Charles Craven and Loyd Craven both of Lindsay; daughter, Kay Fairley of Lindsay; nine grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Arrangements were under the direction of Webb-Sanders Funeral Home, Exeter.
