Funeral services were held on March 23 for Raul Vidal Cibrian, 32, of Visalia. He died on March 17.

He was born in La Jaretadera, Nayarit, Mexico on Dec. 28, 1971. At the age of six months he moved with his family to California. He was raised and educated in Visalia, graduating from Golden West High School.

At the age of 3 he was diagnosed with cancer and beat it. He never quit fighting or gave up hope with his battle of cancer. He was a loving son, husband, father, special brother and faithful friend who was loved by all and will dearly be missed.

He is survived by his loving family, father and mother, Rodolfo and Josefina Cibrian of Ivanhoe; wife, Maria Alvarez of Visalia; stepchildren, Angel, Virginia and Fernando all of Visalia; brothers, Eddie Cibrian of Washington, Armando, Hugo, Julio and Fernando all of Visalia; sister, Veronica Guzman of Washington; and his extended family of Visalia Olympic Taekwondo and Success Car Club of Visalia.

Arrangements were under the direction of Evans-Miller Exeter Chapel.
