Funeral services were held on March 27 in Guymon, Okla. for Katy Louise Wescoatt, 22, formerly of Exeter. She passed away on March 20 in Ponca City, Okla. as the result of an accident.
She was born on Nov. 17, 1981 in Exeter where she lived before moving to Fort Wayne, Ind. and then to Guymon, Okla. when she was starting fourth grade. She attended school in the Guymon school district where she graduated from Guymon High School in 2000.
She spent the last few months of her life -- the best few months of her life -- as a mother to Martin Max Engster.
She leaves behind her fianc/, Martin Engster; her three-month-old son, Max; her parents, Rev. Mark and Dee Dee Westcoatt of Guymon, Okla; her sister, Robin Oblander and her family; her brother, Ben Wescoatt and his family; grandparents, Liela Myers, Alice Wescoatt, and Lois and Bob Wescoatt.
Arrangements were under the direction of Henson-Novak Funeral Home in Guymon, Okla.
