Family crypt side services for Frances May Romine, 93, of Exeter were held on April 28, at Forest Lawn in Cypress, Calif. She died on April 25 at her home in Exeter.
She was born to Harley and Nellie Haynes on March 14, 1911 in Kokomo, Ind. She moved to California with her family at the age of 9 and attended school in Southern California.
Frances married Harold Romine in Long Beach in 1929 and they lived in that area until her husband's death in 1995. She moved to Exeter to be near her daughter in 1998. When able she had attended evening Sunday service at the Exeter Church of God.
She is survived by her daughter, Pat Jackert of Exeter; two sons, Ted Romine of Washington State and Richard Romine of Fountain Valley, Calif.; six grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
