Graveside services for Veda Mae Robertson, 80, of Lindsay were held on May 17 at Lindsay-Strathmore Cemetery. She died on May 12 at Sierra View District Hospital.
She was born on July 16, 1923 in Texarcana, Ark. She married David Arnold Robertson on Oct. 26, 1940 in Arkansas. She was a resident of Lindsay for 61 years.
She worked for Nu-Way Cleaners in the '60s and worked as a grader for Starks Packing in Strathmore during the '70s.
She was a member of the Faith Baptist church in Strathmore. She enjoyed gardening and loved to plan and cook meals for family on holidays.
She is preceded in death by her husband, David Arnold Robertson on Oct. 26, 1940.
She is survived by her sons; Jerry Dale Robertson of Porterville and Ronald Duane Robertson of Clovis; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren on the way.
