A memorial service for Patricia Ballew, 78, of Visalia will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday June 5 at Christ Lutheran Church of Visalia. She died on May 22 at her residence and will have a private family burial.
She was born on June 30, 1925 in Oceanside, Calif. and married Dean Ballew in February 1945 in Willow Brook, Calif. She moved to Tulare County in 1945. She owned and operated Patty's Treasure Trunk in Lindsay. She was a silk flower floral designer. She enjoyed doing crafts.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Dean Ballew in June 1981. She is survived by two daughters, Beckie Nava and her husband Larry Nava of Visalia, Cynthia McCarthy and her husband Patrick McCarthy of Mariposa, Calif.; four grandchildren, Kerry Allen of California City, Nissa Hanson of Seaside, Ore., Gabriel Nava and his wife Tara of West Covina, Calif.; Sebastian Nava of Visalia; and two great-grandchildren, Christopher Allen and Kaithlyn Allen of California City.
Condolences may be sent to Hospice of Tulare County, 900 W. Oak Ave., Visalia, CA 93291 or a favorite child charity. Arrangements were under the direction of Webb-Sanders Funeral Home of Lindsay.
