Edward Fay Brown was born on Nov. 23, 1945 to Ernest and Vada Brown at Fowler, Calif. and died May 30 at his home outside Phil Campbell, Ala. with his family present.

Mr. Brown lived in the Exeter-Farmersville area in years past. Mr. Brown died of liver cancer caused by his contact with Agent Orange from his combat time spent in Vietnam. He was retired Army.

He is survived by his daughters, Marla Kay Brown and her son, Zachary Brown, and Barbara Cherry and husband Eddie and their children William and Rubye; sons, Martin Brown and his son, Nathaniel, William Brown and wife Rachel and their son, Ethan; sisters and husbands, Joan and Buck Miller of Conroe, Texas, Barbara and Dean Lamb of Alamagordo, N.M., and Betty and Lloyd Metheney of Exeter. Mr. Brown was buried June 4 at the National Cemetery at Fort Mitchell, Ala.
