Private services were held for Roy Dean Filcher, 93, of Three Rivers. He died on June 15 in Visalia.
He was born in Berkeley, Calif. on December 28, 1910. He graduated from Corcoran High School in 1928.
He was a college graduate of University of California, Berkeley in 1936.
He served in the armed services during World War II. At the time of his retirement, he was a certified public accountant for several years at Kings County Trucking Lines.
He is preceded in death by wives, Myrtle Campbell and Cora Belle Reedy; and step-daughter, Emogene Morgan.
He is survived by seven step-children, Virgil Campbell of Kingsburg, Ronald Cross of Visalia, Wes Cross of Washington, Frances Thompson of Exeter, Pauline Childress of Oklahoma, June Cross of Waukena, and Jewel White of Missouri.
Arrangements were under the direction of Evans-Miller Exeter Chapel.
