Funeral services for Marjorie Marie Joseph, 74, of Visalia were held on July 15 at the First Baptist Church in Visalia. She was buried in the Visalia Cemetery. She died on July 11 in Visalia.
She was born to George and Neva Grisham on Jan. 8, 1930 in Los Banos, Calif. She was raised in Tranquility and Coalinga. She graduated from Coalinga High School and attended West Hills Junior College. She worked as a supervisor for AT&T for 17 years. She married Frank J. Joseph on April 20, 1963 in Visalia. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Visalia. She loved spending time with her family and friends, taking care of her animals, camping, decorating her home and working in the garden. She was a very loving, kind and compassionate person who left a lasting impression on all whom she came in contact with. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Neva Grisham. She is survived by her husband, Frank Joseph of Visalia; two sons, Mark Joseph and his wife, Julie, of Visalia, and Michael Joseph of Visalia; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Elaine Horton, Jiny Ward and the family and friends who spent countless hours lovingly caring for Marjorie and supporting her family during her illness.
