A graveside service for Beatrice M. Davison, 84, of Lindsay was held on Aug. 9 at Lindsay-Strathmore Cemetery. It was officiated by Pastor Steve Walker. She died on Aug. 4 at Sierra View District Hospital.

She was born on Oct. 8, 1919 in Oklahoma. She married Arley Davison on April 14, 1939 in Porterville. She was a life long resident of the Lindsay, Porterville area. She was, with her husband, the former owner of the Lindsay Motel. She worked as a sorter for Lindsay Olive in her younger years. She was a landlord over numerous properties. She was a graduate of Porterville High School. She enjoyed square dancing and gardening. She was a member of Valley Oak Community Church and The Good Sam Club.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Arley Davison, in Dec. 1994; son, Dennis R. Davison in 1996; and sisters, Opal Killip and June Linton.

She is survived by one daughter, Arletta Sousa of Lindsay; a sister, Francis Todd of Lindsay; six grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.

Arrangements were under the direction of Webb-Sanders Funeral Home.
