Private services for Thelma Mae Green, 85, of Exeter will be held. Burial will be at the Visalia District Cemetery. She died on Aug. 8 in Visalia.

She was born on Aug. 25, 1918 in Olivet, Kan., to Ernest and Lena Tyson. She married Glenn G. Green in Baldwin City, Kan., in 1936, and together they raised two children.

She and Glenn owned and operated Glenn's Auto and Farm Supply Co. in Firebaugh, Calif. for 20 years. She enjoyed playing golf, traveling, cooking and spending time with her family and all of her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Glenn Green of Exeter; sons William Green Sr. and wife Wilma of Exeter and James Green Sr. and wife Jennifer of Chandler, Ariz.; grandchildren, Jason Green of Chandler, Ariz., Michael Green of Auburn, Calif., William Green Jr. of Reno, Nev., Steven Green of Springhill, Kan., James Green Jr., and wife Karen of North Bend, Wash., and Cynthia Green of Sacramento; great-grandson, Daniel Green of North Bend, Wash., and step great-grandchildren, Charles Johnson of Sacramento, Skip Johnson of Sacramento, and Judy Reynolds of Yreka, Calif.

Arrangements were under the direction of Miller Memorial Chapel of Visalia.
