A visitation for Susan Furbush Shull, 71, of Exeter was held on Aug. 31 at Evans-Miller Exeter Chapel and a Rosary was held on Aug. 31 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Exeter. A Mass will be held at 9 a.m. on Wed., Sept. 1 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Exeter. Burial will follow the Mass at Exeter District Cemetery. She died on Aug. 27 in Visalia.

She was born on July 8, 1933 and worked as an office supervisor. Her family will always remember her as a strong willed, independent, wonderful woman. She enjoyed working with the church as secretary to the priest and traveling to see beautiful places, always carrying a blanket and a picnic lunch. Friends will always remember her as a shoulder to lean on and a woman ready to have a good time. She has left footprints in the hearts of all who entered her life and she will never be forgotten.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Lowell Chancel Furbush in April 1996; and her three sons, Kenneth Francise, Gregory Paul and Gary Paul.

She is survived by her second husband, Kenton Shull; three sons, Timothy Alan of Louisiana, Craig Arthur of Visalia, and Jeffrey Lawrence and his wife, Nora Hildegard of Lancaster Calif; six grandchildren, Lacie Yvette, Misty Lissett, Craig Joshua, Lynette Suzanne, Jeffrey Joseph, and Athena Nicole; and four great-grandchildren.

Arrangements were under the direction of Evans-Miller Exeter Chapel.
