Graveside funeral services for Constance "Eileen" McMahon, 87, of Exeter were held at the Exeter District Cemetery. She died on Aug. 20 in Visalia.

She was born in Belfast, Ireland on June 18, 1917 to Frank and Mary Ellen Jordan. She was raised and educated in Belfast, Ireland. In 1936 she married Mr. Francis McMahon in Belfast. She crossed the Atlantic in 1948 with her six young children where she reunited with her husband, Frank in Philadelphia. In 1976 they moved to Phoenix, Ariz. and moved in 1981 to Exeter. She was of Catholic faith. She was a former member of the Clan Na' Gael. She was an avid reader and also enjoyed knitting, gardening and traveling the United States. She especially enjoyed times spent with her family, most especially her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank, in 1982.

She is survived by her daughters, Mary McMahon of Philadelphia and Constance Pocock of Exeter; sons, Francis McMahon of Philadelphia, Patrick McMahon of Gulph Mills, Penn., Peter McMahon of Philadelphia, Eoin McMahon of Colorado Springs, Colo.; sister, Margaret "Peggy" Gough of Belfast, Ireland; 16 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Arrangements were under the direction of Evans-Miller Exeter Chapel.
