Graveside services for Bobbie Lou Tyler, 60, of Exeter was held on Sept. 14 at the Exeter Cemetery.
She died on Sept. 10 after a year-long battle with cancer at her home in Exeter.
She was born in Mena, Ark., to Francis and Beulah Gammill on Feb. 11, 1944. She married Ken Tyler in Nevada on March 19, 1983. She had worked most of her life in various packing houses in Tulare County as well as working at California Pretzel for several years. In 1992 she was co-owner of the Corner Bar in Exeter until 1997. She was loved and respected by her patrons, family and friends.
She is preceded in death by one brother, Dean Gammill of San Jose; and a stepdaughter, Karen Beasley and a baby granddaughter.
She is survived by her husband, Ken Tyler of Exeter; children, Nita Willbanks of Exeter, Jerry Ledbetter of Grass Valley, Danny Ledbetter of Woodville, Kathy Ortiz of Tranquility, Kenneth Tyler Jr. of Arkansas; one brother, Dean Gammill of San Jose; 20 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
