Celebration of Life service for Beverly C. McKay, 69, was held on Oct. 4 at Grace Community Church. She died on Oct. 1 in Visalia.
She was born Dec. 21 1934 in Fredrick, Colo. to Milo and Clara Clay. She was raised by Lowell and Clara Keeley in Pacific Grove and Burbank, Calif. She married John (Jack) McKay in Las Vegas, Nev., March 6, 1956 and they moved to Visalia in 1966. She worked at Jostens starting in 1972 until just recently she retired. She was a fixture at Clyde Soto Little League Park in the '70s. And has been a member of Grace Community Church of Visalia.
She is preceded in death by her father, Milo Clay; mother Clara Keeley; father, Lowell Keeley; and son, Scott McKay.
She is survived by her husband, Jack McKay of Visalia; daughters, Denise Charboneau of Ariz., Michelle Majors and husband Brian of Michigan; sons, Mike McKay of New York, John McKay and wife Teri of Exeter, Mark McKay and wife Staci of Shell Beach; sister, Shirley Long of Arizona; cousin, Barbara Cline of San Jose; grandchildren, Karianne Gray, Scott McKay, Joshua McKay, Sarah Majors, Robert Majors, Teri McKay, Whitney McKay, Michelle McKay, Michelle Davis, Christin and Laura McKay; and 10 great-grandchildren.
