After living a long full life Jack Edward Hensley passed away on Sept. 30 at the age of 73. Graveside services were held Oct. 4 at Exeter Cemetery.
He was born in Marshal, Texas on March 29, 1931.
He proudly served in the Army for three years in Vienna, Austria where he married the love of his life Friederike Penicka. They resided in Fresno from 1952 to 1978. Jack's 30-year career at Greyhound took the family to Flagstaff, Ariz. for 21 years. After retirement they moved to Visalia to be near their two daughters.
He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Pluri Hensley; one brother, Duane; and one sister, Mary Lou.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Friederike of Visalia; two daughters, Jacqueline and Gary Frayo of Lindsay; Rickie and Bruce Wilson of Visalia; one sister, Wanda Hensley of Fresno; three grandchildren, Gregory and Ashleigh Frayo and Kaitlyn Wilson.
The family wants to thank the staff at Delta Convalescent Hospital for their care and concern.
