Graveside Services for Grace Ruby Stevens, 99, of Exeter will be held at South East Lawn Memorial Park and Mortuary in Elk Grove, Calif. She died on Oct. 2 in Visalia.

She was born in Duton, Okla. She worked for Sutter Memorial Hospital in Sacramento for many years as a housekeeper. She enjoyed fishing, gardening and traveling, especially an occasional trip to Reno, Nev. She raised her children in Woodlake and loved most of all get-togethers with her 'big' family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Cassity and second husband, Olen Stevens; two brothers, Roy Goodman and Edward Gyles, both of Sacramento; and two son-in-laws, Fudge Richardson of Visalia and Jim Johnston of Fresno.

She is survived by five children, Ruth Richardson of Visalia, Ann Johnston of Fresno, John and Olga Cassity of Porterville, Pete and Rose Cassity of Mt. Home, Ark., and Lowell and Rosie Cassity of Dublin, Calif.; three stepchildren, Alma Simpkins, Gary Stevens and Patsy Carter, all of Red Bluff, Calif.; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Maudie Flatt and Juanita Carter both of Sacramento; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Arrangements were under the direction of Miller Memorial Chapel of Visalia.
