Memorial Service for Douglas Q. Pryor, 79, was held on Oct. 14 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Exeter with private burial at Memorial Park Cemetery, Memphis, Tenn. He died on Oct. 11.

He was born and raised in Memphis, Tenn. to Lawson and Martha Pryor on May 17, 1925. He served in the Army Air Corp during World War II. After the war he worked in car sales and was a musician. He moved to Exeter in 2002 to be near his family.

He is survived by his daughter, Merrilee Lierman of Exeter; sons, Steven Pryor of Minn., Ralph Pryor of Wash. Mark Pryor of Calif.; one brother, Edward A. Pryor of Stockton; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
