Graveside service for Howard Coday, 87, of Exeter, were held yesterday, Nov. 16 at Exeter Cemetery with a flag presentation by American Legion Post 94. He died on Nov. 12 at his home in Exeter.

He was raised and schooled in Exeter graduating from EUHS in 1934. He married Irene Higgins in Las Vegas on Aug. 2, 1942. He served in the US Army during World War II. He owned and operated Howard Coday plumbing for many years in Exeter.

He is survived by his wife, Irene Coday of Exeter; two sons, Alan and Larry Coday of Exeter; a daughter, Mary Lou Phillips of Visalia; a sister, Ollene Turner of Colville, Wash.; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
