Private family services for Billy J. Belcher Sr., 75, of Lindsay will be held. He died on Nov. 26 in Tulare.

He was born on Nov. 24, 1928 in Exeter. He was a resident of Tulare County for 26 years. He was a graduate of Exeter Union High School. He served in United States Army during the Korean War as a tank driver. He worked as an auto paint and body mechanic for 40 years. He was a member of First United Pentecostal Church of Exeter. He loved to fish.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Vestal of Exeter; and his son, James Belcher in May 2003.

He is survived by his two sons, Charles Belcher of Hesperia, Calif., Billy Jack Belcher of Pleasantville, Calif.; one daughter, Joy Heath of Fresno; one brother, Leroy Belcher of Ark.; two sisters, Anna Jane Chavira of Exeter, Mary Lou Edwards of Bakersfield; ten grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are under the direction of Webb-Sanders Funeral Home.
