Memorial Service for Mildred "Nonie" Moore, 86, of Lindsay will be held at 10 a.m., Dec. 1 at First Baptist Church of Lindsay with Rev. Samuel Estes officiating. She died on Nov. 25 in Visalia.

She was born on Nov. 8, 1918 in Lindsay. She married Francis "Mack" Moore on Feb. 14, 1937. She was a life-long resident of Lindsay and graduated from Lindsay High School in 1936. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Lindsay where she was baptized in 1931. She served as Church Clerk for 22 years, member of the Deaconess's Board for several terms, Women's Missionary Society, Girls Guild Co-Counselor, Craft Co-ordinator for many Vacation Bible Schools, Child Evangelism Good News Clubs, head of Floral Committee Choir Groups.

In 1974 she went on the Holy Land Trip to Rome and Athens. She attended the First World Conference on Holy Spirit.

She enjoyed cooking, was an accomplished seamstress and would make most of her daughters' clothing. She loved animals especially dogs and cats. She spent her life as a homemaker taking care of her family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Francis "Mack" Moore in 1996; her son, Darrel Moore in 1942; one brother, Wendall Bishop; and one Granddaughter, Bonnie Bedwell in 1976.

She is survived by two daughters, Donna Kirth and husband Jack, their children, Amy Raymond, Deena Reagan, Betsy Ellis, Jay Ellis and Sandy Hughes; Janice Bedwell and husband Jack, their children Jay Bedwell and Angela Smithpeters; one sister, Irene Seeley of Coarsegold, Calif.; seven grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be to First Baptist Church, 581 E. Honolulu St., Lindsay, CA 93247. Arrangements are under the direction of Webb-Sanders Funeral Home.
