Church services for Tammy Jean Hughes, 36, of Lindsay will be held 1 p.m., Dec. 1 at Lindsay Church of God with Pastor Bill Hurt officiating. Burial will be in Lindsay-Strathmore Cemetery. She died on Nov. 25 in Visalia.

She was born on Oct. 6, 1968 in Tulare, Calif. She married John J. Hughes. She was a life long resident of Tulare County. She was an assistant manager for the Auto Department at Wal-Mart for five years. She was a resident of Lindsay for 18 years. She loved being with her family and friends. She enjoyed collecting teddy bears. She was a member of the Church of God in Lindsay.

She was preceded in death by her daugher, Little Rosa Hughes in 1987.

She is survived by her husband, John J. Hughes of Lindsay, Calif.; five Sons, Billy, Ruben and Justin Hughes of Lindsay, Brian Hughes of Strathmore, John H. Hughes of Amarillo, Texas, and; two daughters, Daisy Hughes of Porterville, Jessica Stevens of Lindsay; one Brother, Dewayne Stevens; four sisters, Tina Stevens of Lindsay, Brenda Roberts of Plainview, Calif., Ronda Palard of Arroyo Grande, Calif., and Ruby Hall of Wisconsin; and five grandchildren.

Arrangements are under the direction of Webb-Sanders Funeral Home.
