Graveside services were held for Al Trams, 73, of Woodlake on Jan. 25. He passed away peacefully in his sleep on Jan. 18 in Woodlake. He was a building contractor.

He was born on Dec. 7, 1931 in Mansfield, Mo. He served in the U.S. Navy in 1952. He spent most of his life in construction, building and remodeling homes as well as other woodworking endeavors. He had a great love of fishing, hunting and gardening. He loved to meet his buddies for morning coffee.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, nieces and nephews. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, June of Woodlake; one son, Jeff, and wife, Michele of Bakersfield; one daughter, Kendra, and husband, Paul of Fresno; and one sister, Pearl Brooks of Exeter.

Arrangements were under the direction of Evans-Miller Exeter Chapel.
