No services were held for Albert D. Parker, Sr., 75, of Exeter, per his request. He died on Feb. 24 in Exeter. He was a machinist.

He was born on May 22, 1929 in Ardmore, Okla. to Elbert and Minnie Parker. He moved to the Tulare County area in 1941 and to Exeter in 1971. He was employed with Wheeling Pacific as a machinist for 25 years. He served in the US Army Reserve. He loved to fish, enjoyed country music and a love for cars. He left his family a legacy of love, devotion and hard work, as well as being a honest man.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elbert and Minnie Parker; one sister, Lida Alford; and one grandson, Jeremy Clevenger.

He is survived by his son, Albert D. Parker, Jr., of Nevada; four daughters, Bessie M. Arnold of Okla., Patricia A. Clevenger of Oregon, Barbara Mathis of Tulare and Carolina Mae Patton of Tipton; two brothers, Peter Parker of Visalia and Jessie Parker of Ivanhoe; numerous grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Arrangements were under the direction of Evans-Miller Exeter Chapel.
