Graveside services were held for Ollie F. Prewer of Visalia who passed away Sept. 17, 2006, at the age of 81.

Ollie was born May 26, 1925 in Mansfield, Mo., to Amy and Charles Keys. She married Don Prewer Sept. 29, 1946, and worked for Dottie Dean's, Adeline Marie's and Anita's. After her retail career she became the bookkeeper for her husband's business, D&D Electric.

She was the Sunday School Secretary for Ivanhoe First Southern Baptist Church. During her life she was a Brownie and Girl Scout Leader and member of Ivanhoedowners Square Dancers. She was very active in the American Legion Auxiliary Post #743 in Ivanhoe.

Ollie was a real people person. She was known as &#8220the hugger” because she always had a hug for everyone she met. She loved getting her family and friends together in Three Rivers. She loved potlucks and making desserts for all the family gatherings. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Ollie was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers; Willard, Murlin and Virgil Keys, her sisters; Violet McBride, Lorene Rippee and Mary Smith. She is survived by her husband, Don Prewer of Visalia, daughters and their husbands; Beverly and Doug Wegener of Bakersfield and Donna and George Smith of Three Rivers, grandchildren Kimberly and Toby Brogden, Theresa and Jim Shallow, T.J. and Brooke Wegener, Patrick, Chris, Diane, Jennifer and Kellee Smith, great-grandchildren; Tabatha and Kirstin Brogden, Skyler Shallow, Jaidyn Wegener and Logan and Blake Smith. She is also survived by her brother Burlin Keys, sister Lois Price and many in-laws, nieces and nephews.Arrangements under the direction of Evens-Miller Exeter Chapel.
