Rogelio &#8220Roy” Macareno

Rogelio &#8220Roy” Macareno was born Dec. 11, 1956 in Fresno. On Saturday, Sept. 16, 2006 Roy departed this life in Lindsay. Roy was 49 years old.

Roy was the fourth child of three brothers and four sisters born to Blas and Flora Macareno. His brothers and sisters are; Carols, Alicia, Gloria, Josie, Flora and Noel and Carmen of Maria Gloria Baez Macareno.

Roy leaves behind a son Little Roy Macareno, many nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Roy was a very hospitable person, who loved life and people. He was a lover of music, a musician who enjoyed entertaining family and friends playing the guitar and piano. Roy was known for being artistic for his painting and window artwork. Roy had a big heart and was a great cook. Roy had the greatest sense of humor, laughter, and goofiness and had a great smile.

Roy had an endearing and positive personality that drew ones to him. Those that came to know Roy admired him and were truly impressed by his personality and hard working Spirit.

In behalf of Roy, the family thanks all the many businesses of Lindsay, Porterville, Tulare and Visalia for their business support of Roy's window Art Advertising. Roy enjoyed his Artistic painting throughout Tulare County. All in the community will miss Roy's artwork.

Blas and Maria Gloria Macareno and brother, sisters and son (Little Roy) would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their support during this difficult time. The love shown by the calls, flowers, and consoling words will always be remembered and cherished.
