1932–2020

It’s with our deepest condolences that we announce the passing of Lloyd F. Guinn, formerly of Lindsay, Calif. He entered into eternal rest on May 10, 2020 in Corning, Calif. at home with family by his side.

He was born April 7, 1932 in Shawnee, Okla. to Ellen and Elton Guinn. In November 1952 he enlisted into the Army and served in the Korean War. He was honorably discharged with the rank of Corporal in October 1954.

He worked many years for Lindsay Olive Company in Lindsay, Calif. and finished his career as a carpenter into his early 80s.

He is survived by sons Marlon, Kenny, Ted and Scott Guinn; many grandkids, great-grandkids and a few great-great-grandkids. He was proceeded in death by his son Billy Guinn. Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Nov. 6 at the Northern California Veterans Cemetery. We will be meeting at N. Cottonwood Elementary School for the procession at 8:15 a.m.
