William Robert Pullin
1931–2023
William Robert Pullin peacefully passed away on May 9, 2023 surrounded by loved ones, from Sebastopol and Placerville, Calif. He was 92 years old.
William was born on Feb. 13, 1931 to Guy Pullin and Faye McRae in the bustling city of Exeter, Calif. He was raised by his beloved Grandmother Myrtle and Grandfather George. William graduated from Exeter High School in 1949.
He and his high school sweetheart, Marie, were married in 1950. They lived in Exeter until 1955 when they and sons, Larry and Mark, moved to Santa Clara, Calif. beginning his career in the U.S. Postal Service. William and Marie retired in 1987. While retired, William had time to pursue his love of woodworking. He made many specialty crafted pieces of furniture for his sons and grandchildren; coffee tables, end stands, bunk beds, chest of drawers, and display cases. William was predeceased by wife Marie, sister Marjorie, and brother Dean, and his second wife Thelma Gillespie.
William is survived by sons, Larry and Mark; grandchildren Nicolaas, Jesse, Keith, Jade, and Bryn; and great-grandchildren Isla Marie, Marshall Dean, Indy, Steele, Brixton, and Korbin.
His ashes will be interred at Exeter Public Cemetery.
