Helen Bernice (Champlin) Headrick born on Sept. 9, 1920, in Hanford passed away on May 20, 2024, in Visalia at the remarkable age of 103. Helen was a proud member of the Greatest Generation, embodying their strong work ethic and unwavering commitment to duty. She worked hard throughout her life and in retirement she volunteered for the city of Visalia for 22 years. Helen loved spending time in the mountains at Beasore Meadows and the vicinity, gardening, and helping others. Helen was preceded in death by her husband Don (Sr.) Headrick, her son Billy, and her siblings, Bud Champlin, Do Dooley, and Karl Champlin. Helen is survived by her children, Don (Melanie) Headrick, Pat (Tom) Pope, and Bob (Laura) Headrick, seven grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. She made an impression on all who knew and loved her, and she will be greatly missed. The funeral service for Helen will be held  on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at 9 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, located at 608 N. Church St. in Visalia, California.
