The Lindsay Cardinals football shook off an early season slump to sneak into the playoffs. And last week nine players were rewarded for their efforts by being selected the to All-East Sequoia League Team.
First Team
Tomas Cervantes made the transition from running back to offensive lineman with ease and earned an All-League nod for his work.
Lindsay coach Paul Dieterle said that Cervantes is like having another coach on the field and that he was completely unselfish in accepting his new role.
Cervantes was also a second team selection at the linebacker position.
