For the second consecutive year the Exeter Monarchs volleyball team dropped a home game in the quarterfinals of Division 3 Southern California Regionals.
The Monarchs fell 25-19, 28-26, 22-25, 25-16 to the Northwood Timberwolves on Tuesday.
"Northwood was a very strong opponent with two outstanding middle hitters," Exeter coach Alana Montgomery said. "On defense we had trouble containing their hitters."
