Anthony Gonzalez was named the Cardinal of the Week for his volleyball game against Hanford on March 23.
Gonzalez led the Cardinals to their first boys volleyball victory in two years. His serving was outstanding, getting 17 points with 91 percent accuracy.
He also had a career high 11 kills and one block in the four set win. From his left outside hitter position he carries most of the hitting responsibility for the team and his jumping ability and powerful swing has made him a factor.
