One week after Alex Garcia shot the low round for the Exeter Monarchs golf team, Steven Thompson shot a 74 to lead Exeter to a first place 386 at the Selma Valley Golf Course on April 20.
Garcia and Clayde Barkley each shot 77's for Exeter who finished 51 strokes ahead of second place Woodlake.
Cory Cordeiro shot a 78 and Chris Rilea shot an 80 to round out the scorers for Exeter.
Exeter has dominated the first four ESL tournaments and will look to finish the tournament season a perfect 5-0 when they travel to Woodlake on April 27.
The ESL Finals will be on May 4 at the Kings River Country Club.
As of press time the ESL mini-tournament in Woodlake had yet to be played. Results can be found in the May 5 issue of The Exeter Sun.
