Numerous swimmers turned in strong performances for the Lindsay Skimmers June 15 as they took on the Blue Dolphins from Corcoran in the Central Valley Recreation Swim League.
Nicole Shaw had first place finishes in the 100-yard individual medley (1:38.0) and the 50-yard breaststroke (35.87). High school teammates Steven Ingoldsby, Justin Morillo and Alec Blue combined for four first-place finishes in the 15-18 year old division.
Ingoldsby nabbed the top spot in the 50-yard butterfly with a time of 27.14 and in the 100-yard freestyle (51.30). Blue won the 50-yard backstroke with a time of 30.57 and Morillo won the 100-yard individual medley (1:04.18).
Rebecca Gomez came home with two first place finishes in the eight-and-under division. Gomez swam the 25-yard backstroke in a time of 25.41 and the 25-yard butterfly in 26.96. Chelsea Arroyo took the top spot in the 100-yard individual medley (1:21.80) and in the 50-yard butterfly (37.27).
Enrique Gomez had two first place finishes in the boys six-and-under division and Jamie Arroyo brought home two first place finishes in the 8-and-under division.
