Robertson surrenders first run

Much like he was tossed into the fire last year as a Major League starter for the Houston Astros, Jeriome Robertson is again battling the flames, only this time dousing fires as a relief pitcher for the Cleveland Indians.

Since being called up from Triple-A Buffalo on June 26, Robertson has made four appearances and until the Fourth of July, he was perfect. Robertson allowed one run in two-thirds of an inning in his first time pitching consecutive days for the Indians. Cleveland eventually lost the game 5-4 in 11 innings.

The day before he pitched a scoreless two-thirds of an inning in a 4-2 Indians loss. On July 1, He pitched a scoreless inning in a 7-6 nail biter over the Detroit Tigers.

Currently, the southpaw has an ERA of 5.59 in 9.92 innings pitched.
