The Monarchs tacked on two more league wins over the past week taking a giant 9-3 win over Woodlake and dishing out a close 2-0 victory against Corcoran to finish up the week.

Woodlake scored two runs in the first inning for an early lead.

But Exeter started swinging their bats halfway through the game to score their first run in the top of the fifth. Cortney Whitlock started the inning off with a single and was moved over by a sacrifice hit by Kylie Souza. Whitlcok then scored on Callie Souza's sacrifice hit.

In the sixth inning after Woodlake added their final run of the game, Exeter came back with another three runs to take the lead. Chelsea Boland started with a single then Katie La Fleur hit her in with a double. Markie Simons then hit another single and was move over on a walk. La Fleur was hit in on Marlene Gonzales' sac fly deep to right field. Whitlock added a hit to bring in Simons.

In the top of the seventh Exeter scored five more runs.

Whitlock was the top hitter for the day going four for five scoring two runs with one RBI.

Katie La Fleur hit three for four with one double scoring once with one RBI.

Markie Simons hit 3 for 4 scoring twice.

Shannon Mahan received the win pitching the full seven innings.

Katelyn Goins threw a 2 hitter and shut out for the win against Corcoran.

It only took two runs for the win against Corcoran last Friday. The runs came in the first inning after Cortney Whitlock started off with the only walk for the game. She stole second and was moved over by Kylie Souza’s bunt the Callie Souza hit her in with a deep home run over left fielders head.

Callie Souza hit 2 for 3 and had 2 RBI’s.

Ashley Wilson also went 2 for 3.
