The Monarchs cleaned up in the final week of league play taking huge wins over Kingsburg and Coalinga on Feb. 14 and Feb. 16.

The wins inflated Exeter's Central Sequoia League record to 7-3 giving them a no. 4 seed in the Division IV Valley Playoffs.

The high seed gives the Monarchs a home game at 7 p.m. tonight against the No. 13 Corcoran Panthers.

Corcoran finished the season with a 10-15 overall record and 5-4 in the East Sequoia League. The Monarchs defeated the Panthers 67-54 in a non-league contest on Dec. 6.

Corcoran's biggest threat is 6'4” sophomore Joseph Turner who is averaging 15 points and eight rebounds a game.

The winner of the game will move on to the quarterfinal at 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 23. If Exeter advances, the team will host the winner of the game between No. 5 Kingsburg and No. 12 Orosi.
