Lindsay turned the scores around last week, taking double-digit wins over Central Valley Christian and Orosi.

The Cardinals started the week with a 12-6 win over Orosi. Lindsay rallied runs in all but one inning on Tuesday, April 17 in Orosi.

Hayley Kendig pithed the win giving up three earned runs, 10 hits and struck out seven of 34 batters faced. She only walked two batters.

Lindsay was helped by Kimberly Keler's two for two at bat performance. She had two RBIs and was walked once.

Lindsay continued on a winning path on Thursday, April 19 as they downed the CVC Cavaliers 14-7 in Visalia.

Cassandra Manning earned the win on the mound. In the first three innings, she struck out four batters and only gave up one hit.

Manning led the offense as well going four for five with three RBI two doubles and three runs.

Jeshea Garcia was two for four for Lindsay with two runs and a sacrifice hit.

The Cardinals improved their record to 5-4 and climbed the league standings to third place behind undefeated Corcoran and 4-4 Woodlake.

Lindsay will travel to Woodlake to face the Tigers at at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 26.
