VISALIA– On Friday, June 15, the Visalia Rawhide added three more names to the North Division roster for the 2018 California League All-Star Game. They are right-handed pitchers Tommy Eveld and Tyler Mark, along with catcher Dominic Miroglio. These additions bring the Rawhide’s count up to six players who will travel to Lancaster on Tuesday, June 19.
Eveld has been one of the most reliable arms coming out of the Rawhide bullpen. Of his seven save attempts, he converted six of them. That number puts him in a tie for fourth in the California League, all while posting a 1.07 walks plus hits per inning pitched (WHIP) average, and 26 strikeouts in 24.1 innings of work.
Mark has made his living for the Rawhide coming out of the bullpen. His 44 strikeouts in 31.1 innings gave him the fifth-best strikeout per nine innings ratio among relievers this season.
Miroglio is currently batting a .318 average with 12 doubles and 25 RBIs in 43 games played.
