Bishop Broncos trample Cardinals 34-7 in D-VI title game
Despite having one of their best seasons since head coach Ben White took over the Cardinal football program, Orosi still could not win the last game of the season. On the road against the Bishop Broncos, the Cardinals were nearly outmatched from the beginning.
Each defense managed to stymie opposing offenses throughout the first quarter, but Bishop started reeling off scoring plays in the second quarter heading into halftime ahead 13-0. The Broncos added 14 more points in the third quarter and then seven in the last frame of the game. Orosi also scored their only points of the game in the fourth quarter.
Orosi finished the 2019 season with 11 wins to four losses and ended in third in the West Sequoia League standings.
