Exeter youth baseball and softball leagues postponed

As of now, the leagues are still planning to take place with a few schedule modifications

The Sun-Gazette

EXETER – In keeping with the most current recommendation of Public Health officials in the State of California and Tulare County, due to the spread of COVID-19 in Tulare County and across the state we are making some adjustments to our youth baseball/softball leagues.

Coaches meeting will be the week of April 13 and practices may start the week of April 20. However, games will be postponed until the week of May 4.

Coaches will be notified of any changes to the start date and scheduling.

Please note that we are still looking for volunteer coaches for this season. Due to the change in game schedules, additional coaches are needed to fill in for any needed teams.

For parents who wish to withdraw their child from the league, please notify the Parks & Recreation Department by April 10 in order to receive a full refund. After April 10, refunds will still be provided minus the department required $15 administrative processing fee up until May 1.

For any questions or concerns, please email [email protected] or [email protected]. You may also go to the City of Exeter website or contact our business office at (559) 592-5262 Monday-Friday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
