All-Star high school baseball comes to Rawhide Stadium

The Exeter Lions hold their 63rd annual All-Star Baseball game this Saturday night; exceptional high school baseball players from across Tulare County gather to compete

VISALIA – After an exciting season of high school baseball in the Central Valley, it is now time to celebrate the best talent from this past season. And what better way to do that than the 63rd annual Exeter Lions All-Star Baseball game at Valley Strong Ballpark this Saturday night.

With the best talent on the field this weekend, the East and the West teams will go at it for bragging rights. The East squad will be coached by Porterville head coach Pete Carganilla, who will bring his players Xavier Aguilera and Louise Torres with him onto the team.

After reaching the Central Valley semifinals, Mission Oak will be represented by Zylan Ramirez and Kannon Silva. Jacob Price and Adams Sims will represent Tulare Union while Blake Crawford, Easton King and Trey Garrison come from Tulare Western.

After going undefeated in the East Yosemite League for the second year in a row, Redwood will be represented by Cruz Rodriguez, JJ Llerenas and Easton Rogers. From Exeter, Ruben Ruiz, Miles Munger and Aidan Robertson will play for the East team.

Lindsay’s John Mosqueda and Bailey Brown will return to Valley Strong Ballpark after finishing second in the Division VI Central Section Championships. Coming off an appearance in the Central Valley semifinals, Landon Gamez and Ismael Pena will represent the Woodlake Tigers. Other players on the East roster include Jayson Castillo and Colton Isom from Monache and Noah Smith from Strathmore.

The West team will be coached by Sierra Pacific head coach Jonathan Chavez, but will also have many players from Tulare County on the roster. The Central Valley Christian Cavaliers will be well represented by Bryce Cook, Case Anker and Landon Holloway on the team.

Other Visalia kids on the team include Jordan Versteeg and Kaden Welch from Mt. Whitney, Caleb Silva and Matthew Dykstra from El Diamante and Chris Garcia from Golden West. From Farmersville, Remy Rivas will look to make the Aztecs proud. Coming down from up north, the Dinuba Emperors will have Paul Huerta, Noah Gonzalez and Daniel Pruneda on the roster.

The Exeter Lions All-Star Baseball game will start at 7 p.m. at Valley Strong Ballpark. Tickets can be purchased at the gate for $10 or at VIP Pizza. For reserved seating, interested baseball fans can text 559-679-3571.
