Visalia Chamber event features local food, beer, wine, coffee and cigars Sept. 28 at Vossler Farms
VISALIA – What better way to kick off fall than with an event celebrating the harvest of local food, beer and wine at a pumpkin patch.
On Friday, Sept. 28 the Visalia Chamber of Commerce will host its 5th annual Oktoberfest 2018 at Vossler Farms Pumpkin Patch in Visalia. Building on the success of last year, Oktoberfest 2018 will bring live bands, food samples from local restaurants, as well as the much anticipated beer and wine tastings.
Building on the success of last year’s record breaking attendance, Oktoberfest 2018 is expected to attract up to 1,500 people and more than 60 vendors. Oktoberfest provides businesses with awesome exposure and the opportunity to expand their reach and brand recognition to a large audience. This year Oktoberfest will feature more than 40 local business vendors including Central Valley breweries, wineries, eateries, as well as coffee and cigar retailers.
General admission tickets are $40 (advance purchase) or $50 the day of the event. Ticket admission includes live entertainment, food and a mug for beer and wine tasting. This year there will be three live bands performing. The CJ Green Band was discovered locally at the KJUG county showdown, this local band has recently played with many Nashville artists at local KJUG concerts. JJ Brown is a country artist whose music has been compared to Keith Urban, Eric Church and Bruce Springsteen. Erick Tyler & the Vibe is an exciting and powerful blend of rock, funk, reggae and pop music.
Oktoberfest is hosted by the Visalia Chamber of Commerce and presented by Budweiser, with event sponsors: Bueno Beverage, Vossler Farms, Visalia Mall, KRC Safety, Stihl, Energy Concepts, Andrew Janz for Congress, Emmanuel’s Automotive, and Visalia Psychic.
