VISALIA – Local business owner, radio talk show host and civic advocate Brad Maaske officially kicked off his campaign for the District 3 seat on the Tulare County Board of Supervisors.

“It will be a tremendous honor to be the active voice of the people of District 3 in Tulare County,” Maaske said. “It is a responsibility that I am greatly looking forward to having and one I will take very seriously. The trusted people of my district can rely upon me to be an earnest leader, to tackle the hard issues we face and to clean things up so we can once again be a prospering and growing county.”

Maaske’s motto is “Enough is enough!” and he says it is time stop studying the homeless and other issues and time to start utilizing the resources already available to address these problems.

“Cleaning up our parks and cities, keeping water flowing to our farmers, fair pay for our local law enforcement, smaller government, less waste, family values, and common sense governing – these are the real issues that face our hardworking families in District 3,” Maaske said. “I ask the people of my District to stand with me and to fight the fight by trusting me with their vote. If they will do so, I will represent their values and principles in every aspect of my public service.”

This is his first run as County Supervisor of Tulare County District 3. Maaske was formerly a city of Exeter planning commissioner, committee member for the Measure “R” Task Force, committee member for the Visalia General Plan Committee, past President of Realty World National/Northern CA/San Joaquin Valley Trade Groups and the former Chair of the Tulare County Association of Realtors Local Government Public Relations Committee.  Brad currently is an active member of the Measure N Oversight Committee and Tulare County Assessment Appeals Board.

Brad Maaske was raised in Tulare County, graduated from Exeter Union High School, attended COS and has over 40 years of business and public service experience under his belt. He currently runs a real estate business, property management service in Visalia, is a State Licensed contractor and hosts a talk show on KMJ FM105.9/580 AM. Maaske and his wife Catherine live in Visalia spending time with their children and grandchildren. The Maaskes attend Gateway Church. For more information visit or catch them on Facebook.
