EVENT CALENDAR GUIDELINES: The posting of events on The Sun-Gazette’s calendar is free of charge and at the discretion of the publisher. Submissions will be accepted for fun activity, fundraiser, civic, social, entertainment or educational events located within Tulare County. While events can be age-, interest-, sports- or needs-specific, reservations and tickets must be reasonably easy to attain by the general public and honored when redeemed within any legal requirements (i.e., the ticketholder is legally old enough for a 21+ only event).

• Event submissions for exclusive club meetings or exclusive private parties will not be posted.
• Events without a Tulare County location or point of origin will not be posted.
• Priced events without a single reasonable public access to tickets/reservations—either via online, telephone, a physical presale location within Tulare County or at the event’s entrance—will not be posted.
• Money transfer scams or events for other questionable, nefarious or criminal purposes will not be posted.
• Corporate retail sales events are considered advertising content, and will not be posted here—please read about our advertising opportunities.

Please submit your event for the free community calendar at least two weeks in advance of the event or your final ticket sales date. Allow two business days (Monday through Friday) for review and posting.

For larger impact, promote your event in the paper or online with an advertisement.
